Guest Ratings & Reviews
This hotel has a charming character and is conveniently located directly on the college campus, which is great for anyone connected to Hillsdale College. The rooms are definitely dated and could use an upgrade, but the service is quite good and the amenities, especially the gym, stand out. While the prices are fair considering the limited options in town, I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for modern luxuries.
My experience at the Dow Hotel & Conference Center was exceptional. The rooms were modern and comfortable, making my long stay a pleasure. The staff was always pleasant and eager to assist. The location was ideal, right on campus and close to everything. However, if you're looking for more amenities like valet service, you might be disappointed. Overall, it offered great value for my money, especially with its comfort and service.
My stay at the Dow Center was enjoyable and convenient, especially being located right on campus. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making for a comfortable visit. However, the lack of on-site dining options was a downside, though the nearby student union helped make up for it. Overall, it is a solid choice for anyone visiting Hillsdale College, particularly for parent weekends or school events.
I recently stayed at the Dow Conference Center for a while, and overall, it was a solid experience. The new rooms are impressive, clean, and modern, making for a really comfortable stay. However, my interactions with the front desk could have been better as the service often felt lacking. While I enjoyed my time here and appreciated the good dining options close by, I believe some staff training could elevate the experience significantly.
The hotel served its purpose well for our visit to the college, thanks to its outstanding location right on campus. The rooms were spacious, but some aspects felt worn and in need of updates. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at times, and not having breakfast available on-site was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it's valuable for those visiting the college, but don't expect too much in terms of modern amenities.
